At Sacopee Valley Eye Care, our goal is to promote good eye health and enable you to have the clearest vision possible. We accept several types of vision insurance, cash, checks, and most credit cards. We inform our Cornish patients about exam and treatment costs at the beginning of your appointment. If you require a breakdown of costs, please let us know.
Sacopee Valley Eye Care is a provider for the following insurance companies or vision plans:
This is not a comprehensive list of all the insurances that we accept. It is the patient's responsibility to know if their insurance policy covers eye exams. If you need assistance in determining if your insurance policy covers eye exams or if we accept your insurance, please contact us.
Many employers are offering Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options to employees. Sometimes these are referred to as cafeteria plans and are elective, supplemental insurance savings plans. These plans are designed to let you save money in an account, pre-tax, to pay for additional medical expenses such as eye exams, glasses, contacts, and often laser vision surgery. Check with the benefits administrator at your work to see if you are eligible for this program. FSAs can typically be used in conjunction with any vision insurance plan to offset any out-of-pocket costs on your behalf.
Our Cornish optometry staff understands that cost is a concern when evaluating vision care providers. We do not want cost to be an obstacle to maintaining proper eye health and good vision. We accept various forms of payment and are able to discuss financing options with you prior to any examination. At Sacopee Valley Eye Care, we also accept cash, check, Care Credit and major credit cards. Call (207) 625-3700 today to schedule your eye exam today.

According to the National Eye Institute (NEI), “while vision loss is not a normal part of aging, older adults are at higher risk for certain eye diseases and conditions, including age-related macular degeneration, cataract, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, dry eye, and low vision. Eye diseases often have no early symptoms, but can be detected during a comprehensive dilated eye exam.”
Early detection and treatment are key to saving sight so schedule an exam today!
We accept Medicare and most major insurances and a lot of them cover eye exams with no copay.
